Self-catering budget accommodation on a fruit farm near Montagu. We have three charming self-catering renovated farm cottages and a larger house for bigger groups.
Keisie Cottages is a great weekend away either for a family or for a couple wanting peace and quiet. We have 2 one - bedroomed cottages (Vine and Fig Tree )with double beds, sofa's in front of a huge fireplace, bathroom with shower etc. Lavender cottage has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds and a kitchen/living area also with a large fireplace and a table and chairs.
Keisie Cottage is on its own with a private garden with a stunning view. It sleeps 6 to 8 people in 2 bedrooms, a sleeper couch and a wendy house for teenagers or camping-types. Big entertainment area with a bathroom with a bath and shower and 2 toilets.
Huge fireplaces in the smaller cottages, comfortably furnished and bedding is provided. Braai facilities on verandah's, swimming facilities, great for hiking and mountain biking. Peaceful, quiet and safe, this is a great retreat but there are also plenty of activities to do in the surrounding areas including wine routes, tractor rides and many more. What's more we're pet-friendly!
The surrounding area is very beautiful, mountainous and peaceful. You will really feel in touch with nature but be perfectly comfortable with the facilities. There is a cement dam/ pool to swim in and also rock pools in the river if you don't mind a bit of a hike.
The tractor rides on Protea farm are next door. The wine routes are great around here and kids usually love the Hot Springs.
