Memorial, a memorial to Cecil John Rhodes designed by Sir Herbet Baker,
Rhodes made his money in the diamond mining trade in Kimberly, after using his
money fo fund his political career he became prime minister between 1890 and 1896,
he died and was buried in Zimbabwe in 1902.
Situated on the slopes of Table Mountain's right hand peak known as Devils Peak
overlooking the Cape flats you can see from Muizenberg to Cape Town and the hills
of Paarl in the distance. |
