My wonderful hotel holiday in Cape Town
I had always wanted to go to Cape Town as quite a few of my friends have been and have thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband retired recently and we decided to celebrate by going on holiday to Cape Town. We stayed at the Waterfront Hotel as that was central and we wouldn't have to hire a car.
We arrived quite late at night, however, it was still extremely warm. Well I suppose it was warm to us as we had just come from a freezing England! The following morning when I opened our curtains I was pleasantly surprised to see Table Mountain looking back at me - what a wonderful sight.
We did all the touristy things, like walking around the waterfront - where they have a large selection of restaurants to choose from, an aquarium, we also booked a cruise to Robbin Island (this was very educational) and we also went up Table Mountain in a cable car. We were only on holiday for two weeks - this just didn't seem to be enough time to do all that we had planned, so we have decided to come back again.
