My self catering holiday in Strand
We decided to go for a holiday close to the coast and for this reason we chose the Strand. We hired a self catering apartment literally across the road from the sea. The view was so relaxing with the crashing of the waves.
My husband and I did quite a bit of walking and I did quite a bit of shopping. But most importantly we would go down to the beach and just relax every day for about an hour and then go sightseeing.
The beauty of being in the Strand meant that we could still travel into Cape Town itself, as we had driven down in our own car from Pretoria. We spent some time at the V&A Waterfront, as there was so much to see. Overall we had a very relaxing and peaceful holiday.
