Our week's break at a B&B in Oudtshoorn
My boyfriend and I wanted to get away from our hectic lifestyles in Cape Town, so we decided to go to Oudtshoorn. We chose a lovely little bed and breakfast with excellent facilities. The owners were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area.
There was so much to see and do in Oudtshoorn - we visited the Cango Caves, Ostrich Farm and the Crocodile Farm. The Cango Caves was my favourite, despite my claustrophobia, it was beautiful to see with all the different coloured lights.
We decided to go back to Cape Town via Hermanus, where we walked around the craft market and then we walked along the shoreline and watched the whales. We had a relaxing week off and this was partly due to the great b&b we had found by chance on the internet.
