Our honeymoon guest house and spa in Gordon's Bay
As I am terrified of flying, my husband and I chose to go locally for our honeymoon - we wanted something special and all I can say is "wow" not only was this place a guest house, but it was a spa as well. The guest house was beautifully decorated and the view of the sea from our balcony was spectacular.
Our wedding went exactly as we had planned it, we got married in a small church in Sea Point with our family and close friends, after which we all had lunch at a local restuarant, which we hired out for the occasion. We then left to go to the guest house.
All I can say is that I have stayed in lots of hotels and this guest house beats them all - it was everything and more than I expected. Even my husband, who has travelled abroad many times and has stayed in many hotels and guest houses, was very impressed with this guest house and spa. We had a fantastic week and an unforgettable honeymoon.
