My sister's wedding in Stellenbosch, S.A.
We are four sisters, each living in a different country. My baby sister from Australia decided she wanted to get married in Stellenbosch in South Africa, this way we would all be getting a holiday together and we would all be present for the wedding in South Africa. I can see exactly why my sister chose Stellenbosch - the scenery is absolutely beautiful with lots of vineyards. My sister had found and booked a huge self catering house for us all - we were ten in total.
My parents, husband and I were the last to arrive. My baby sister fetched us from Cape Town International Airport and brought us back to this beautiful area. After a good night's sleep we decided to investigate the area, we found a lovely vineyard /restaurant /deli where you could make up your own picnic and go and sit on the bank of a river that runs through the vineyard, we thoroughly enjoyed our picnic together with a bottle of the local wine.
We did all the touristy things like go up Table Mountain in a cable car, visited the Waterfront in Cape Town. We also did a wine tasting tour - which we all enjoyed. We enjoyed this trip so much we all decided to meet up here again in two year's time - hopefully with some grandchildren for our parents !
